Bogota, Colombia: Venezolana de Control Intermodal C.A (Veconinter) the leading Company in administrative services for the maritime industry attended successfully to 11th edition of Expologística Colombia 2015, an event that took place between the 12nd and 14th of August 2015.
More than 115 exhibitors and almost 5 thousand visitors from 13 different countries came together in the Corferias building, in the city of Bogota, to attend Expologística. This fair is clearly consolidated as a business event, focused on specialized buyers and professional business people, interested in high-level contacts, goods or services acquisition and keeping up with the industry-leading sector solutions.
This year, the conference covered four main issues from the logistic sector: Transport system modernization, Latin America logistic Cluster experiences in foreign trade, cases of success with effective storage and the delivery of results of the DNP survey “Colombia is logistics”. This last item revealed data that positions Colombia in a stage of severe underdevelopment in infrastructure for transport and trade of goods in comparison with other countries of the continent.
Veconinter participated with a stand from which the visitors got suitable information about the multiple services that the company offers, guided by the Commercial Manager, Martín Medina and the Damages Director, Ramón Brea. At a local level participated: Johana Samaniego (Country Manager) and Ivonne Montoya (Line Coordinator).
Johana Samaniego, Country Manager in Colombia, said that the team got diverse business opportunities: “With our presence in the fair we could create closer commercial ties and position once more, reaffirming our strategic business approach”. “We are grateful to all of the participants and collaborators of the event that allowed us to present a strategic business option and win-win situations,” said Samaniego.

Expologística is organized by the National foreign commerce association Analdex. The institution called for overcoming the challenges of the industry and improve the competitiveness and efficiency of the Colombian exportation.
