Veconinter is promoting a donation program to raise awareness and actively contribute to the veterans’ cause, specifically with the Wounded Warrior Project, a nonpartisan organization headquartered in Jacksonville (Florida) that offers programs to improve the lives of veterans and their families.

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility policies, Veconinter started in April 2017 an initiative that involves partnerships with different NGO’s to support many causes throughout the year. The focus is helping foundations and communities that promote social development as well as local NGO’s keeping in mind our corporate values such as honesty, responsibility, teamwork, and respect.

Starting in May 29, Veconinter is standing up for the veterans’ cause in association with the Wounded Warrior Project. This is an organization that since 2003 provides free programs and services to address the needs of veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound, co-incident to their military service on or after September 11, 2001 and their families.

According to the foundation’s website, there are over 48,000 servicemen and women that have been physically injured in the recent military conflicts; and about 400,000 live with combat-related stress, major depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder. These numbers are evidence of all the people that need support to recover their mental and physical health.

Veconinter’ initiative involves the company’s business partners as well. Our clients and consignees will have the opportunity to increase the amount of money we will donate to WWP by timely paying their invoices.

From May 29th (Memorial Day) to June 29thfor every invoice collected in the US, we will donate 1 USD to the Wounded Warrior Project.

To make your contribution in a fast and secure way, you will also have the option to make online payments through our partnership with Paypal, with debit or credit card.
